Who am I and what am I about (professionally)?
I am a designer who wants to help people bring their ideas to life, especially those who do not have the means to do it themselves.
Will VanMeter was born in Woodstock, Georgia and has lived in Winchester, Virginia for most of his life. He has been attending George Mason University since 2019, working towards earning his BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design. Will has had a creative spark since he was old enough to hold a crayon but did not know what career to choose until his senior year of high school when he discovered graphic design. He works almost exclusively in digital mediums such as Photoshop in Illustrator but will start new projects with rough pencil sketches. His works do not have a particular theme to them, but he wants people to be able to look at the things he creates and smile. Will is still new to the world of art and design, but he is eager to find his place in it.

What is unique about me as a designer/ what differentiates me from other designers?
I generally prefer to not stick to trends or what’s currently “popular”. I’m a believer in “new or trending doesn’t mean better”. If a particular style or motif is trending that probably means a lot of people are going to be using it, so anything made that way will have a lot of trouble standing out.
